The Victoria Memorial is a large marble building in Kolkata, West Bengal, India, which was built between 1906 and 1921. It is dedicated to the memory of Queen Victoria (1819–1901), and is now a museum and tourist destination under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture.

Ramakrishna Mission Swami Vivekananda’s Ancestral House and Cultural Centre is a museum and cultural centre. It is located at 3, Gourmohan Mukherjee Street, Kolkata, India. In this house, Swami Vivekananda was born on 12 January 1863.

Ahuja Museum for Arts is a private, one-of- a kind of Museum. It houses and displays the personal art collection of Mr. S.D. Ahuja consisting of 2000 artworks of over 250 artists. They have been showcasing 300 paintings every year from 2012 onwards by displaying a unique set of 50 paintings from the collection every two months.

State Archaeological Gallery established in Calcutta in 1962 has collections including rare tools of the Early, Middle and the Late Stone Ages from Susunia and other sites, proto-historic antiquities from Pandu Rajar Dhibi (Burdwan), terracottas, sculptures, stone and stucco from the Gupta, Maurya, Shunga, Kushana, Pala and Mediaeval times.

Netaji Bhawan or Netaji Bhavan is a building maintained as a memorial and research center to the life of the Indian nationalist “Netaji” Subhas Chandra Bose in Kolkata.

Shobhabazar Rajbari is the palace of the Shobhabazar royal family located in the Indian city of Kolkata. Raja Nabakrishna Deb (1737–97), founder of the Shobhabazar Rajbari (at 35), started life modestly but soon amassed considerable wealth in his service to the British, in particular by his role in assisting to topple Siraj ud-Daulah.

Fort William is a fort built in Calcutta on the eastern banks of the River Hooghly, the major distributary of the River Ganges, during the early years of the Bengal Presidency of British India. It was named after King William III of England and Ireland and II of Scotland.

Birla Mandir in Kolkata, India, is a Hindu temple on Asutosh Chowdhury Avenue, Ballygunge, built by the industrialist Birla family. This temple is open in the morning from 5.30 A.M. to 11 A.M. and in the evening from 4 .30 P.M. to 9 P.M.
